Yea, my wife has a Walther p22 and the safety doesn't work right. If you put the safety on and dry fire it within 1-2 shots it'll work its way of safe but hers is older plus the double action doesn't work properly either. So I have to do the same and contact Walther at 479-242-8500 EXT 507 or email them at customerservice@waltherarms.com and they'll fix it for you. Hope this helps.
