Copied from Google-just got in a brand new MD legal Springfield M1A chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. This rifle is a modern take on the ever so popular M14. ... This is a Springfield M14 chambered in 6.5 instead of 308 (That is the only difference?) and it is 100% Maryland legal. So way I'm taking it if it's chambered in 6.5 creedmoor it's good to go. Id contact your local FFL dealer because they will have the most up to date laws and will be able to better tell you what your options are. Hope this helps.
