The CCI mini mags are my GO TO ammo (both the 40 grain RN and the 36 hollow point) if a 22 lr will not function with them it will not work with anything. They work great in my tube fed marlin glenfield model 60
Hi Douglas, I've had my Weatherby Mark XXII for 35 years and the ammo recommended by my LGS at the time was the Rem. 40gr golden bullet. I've killed innumerable squirrels with this round and the rifle to this day still functions great with this round. I've tried other HV ammo brands but the best accuracy/functioning was from CCI Blazers, Rem. 40gr GBs, and CCI Mini Mags HV. I don't remember ever using any SV loads.
