No California prohibits semi-auto shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine.

Unfortunately no, in California any semiautomatic shotgun that can accept a detachable magazine is restricted. If you want a tactical shotgun I'd go pump action since they don't have the same strict laws like semi automatic. Hope this helps.
