Oscar, there are just different capacity magazines. Most manufacturers including Glock make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine.

Is because some states in this country don't have citizens they have subjects, and in these states such as CA, NY, NJ, CT, MA, CO. These states Supreme rulers have decided that where the second amendment says "THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE YO KEEP AND BARE ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" some states feel that's merely a suggestion and not a GOD GIVEN RIGHT. Most of these restricted state models are the exact same gun and will still take standard capacity magazines, but there are some state specific models such as CA and MA that have additional changes from the stock models, such as heavier triggers, fixed magazines ( on rifles) unthreaded barrels etc.

The 10 round versions are for states with restricted capacity. Pistols are the same only difference is the magazine capacity. Hope this helps.
