What are, if any, the main differences between the Del Ton Echo and the Del Ton Sport AR platforms? I've been looking them over and they both appear to be the same.

Out of the two Similar looking ones buds has in stock not to much. This one the sport comes with a 1/9 twist barrel meant for lighter grain ammo like 50-62 grain  and the echo comes with a 1/8 twist barrel Wich is preferred for heavier grain rounds like 62-69 grain rounds. Plus the echo has a rear sight Wich this one does not. Other than that couldn't find much of a difference. Hope this helps.
