Model 11812 has a manual thumb safety while 11814 does not. And unfortunately no, the double stack 11695 magazines are too wide to work in the slimline Shield models.

Only difference I'm seeing is this one has a manual safety and item 11814 does not. Other than that identical. Hope this helps.
