If you have a Curio and Relic license issued by the ATF then C&R eligible firearms can be shipped to you directly. If you don't have a C&R license you can still purchase but the transfer will have to take place through an FFL with the associated Form 4473 and background check.
Unless you have a C&R license it will need to go to a FFL and you will need the background check
Brian, yes Sir you do. Curio and Relics License holders can have this SKS shipped directly to your house. Otherwise an FFL Dealer is required. Cheers and stay safe!
If you have a C&R license you can have C&R eligible items sent to your house, but the sks rifles are not eligible right now. So yes, you would have to have the sks rifles sent to an FFL and would have to do a background check. Sorry but hope this helps.
