In most aspects it is Mil-Spec, it has a Mil-Spec trigger, a milspec buffer tube. This version comes optic ready with an upgraded handguard that includes mlok slots for mounting light, laser, qd sling mounts ect... this version also has a heat shield under the polymere handguard to protect your hand while rapid firing/ mag dumping, the gas tube and the inner diameter of the BCG are chrome lined l, the stock is Milspec. The barrel however is 4140 steel whereas a millspec barrel would be 4150 CMV steel (My Ruger MPR has 4140 steel barrel and ot has put thousands of rounds including magdumps down range with no wear or loss in accuracy) the BCG is also a semiauto profile making it lighter, and also less ideal for FRT, binary triggers, or installing an auto-sear, a totally Mil-Spec version would use a full auto profile bcg (even for a semi auto rifle) There ls probably a couple of things I'm missing but those are the major components. Willie, this rifle is approximately 70% Mil-Spec Sir. Mil-Spec Buffer Tube, Trigger, Chromed Gas key and Full Auto bolt carrier group. The barrel is not Mil-Spec (4150 CMV steel and 1/7 twist rate) but uses 4140 Steel which is not a problem by the way. With proper maintenance and lubrication it will last quite a while. Your correct Randy there is no Mil-Spec for a complete AR15 rifle, BUT a complete rifle CAN be built with components that are built to Mil-Spec standards, everything from the barrel, to the stock, to the trigger, nearly all of the parts of an AR15 do have a Milspec standard.
