Yes, this is a sabot slug. Can't say much about the best one cause never used sabot slugs. My best advice would be to grab a couple brands and see Wich ones the most accurate for you. Hope this helps.
If your barrel is rifled, no need for a rifled slug
Michael, this is a Sabot Slug (optimal in a Rifled Barrel) - Muzzle Velocity (feet per second): 1550. Its a very good sabot and should be fine in your gun however like any firearm only testing will tell you how accurate that slug is from your gun
Michael, this is a sabot slug, made for shooting from a rifled barrel. I don't think you can go wr0ng with Winchester.
