David, other than the Glock having an edge in ease of operation, they are fairly evenly matched Sir. I have both Glocks and CZ's and love them both. Cheers and stay safe!
Either one would be great, both accurate, both extremely reliable, and both easy to operate. Out of the two I'd lean towards the CZ first because it looks alot better, I don't like the looks of standard Glocks. I've held both and the CZ feels more comfortable in my hands. And CZs are great pistols. Like I said both are great pistols, mostly comes down to your preference. If you can I'd recommend going to a range and testing both or atleast a shop and try holding both. Hope this helps.
I'd personally go with the CZ as they have better triggers and better Ergonomics (this is subjective, but for me the CZs grip angle feels way better) Both are reliable and accurate. There is little more to learning the controls ona hammer fired gun (like the P09) But neither are really difficult to meet the hang of after you learn it. Id also say consider weather or not you want a safety (Glocks don't have safety models available the P09 does) Id also throw the P10C (or P10F) into the consideration, it has the same great ergos as the P09, as well as a much better trigger then the glock, but is Striker fired so it has simpler controls and no risk of the hammer hanging up on your clothes when drawing from concealment.

sorry I am biased I love the CZ I prefer a DA/SA gun over a striker. Bothe are superb reliable guns. I would suggest going to a range that rents guns and trying these or guns as close to these as the range rents. then pick the one you like best
