When a magazine is new the last round or two are very hard to get in. I'd recommend a good magazine loader Wich will definitely help. Other than that it will ease up with use and after running a hundred rounds or so threw it you should be able to load it to capacity. I'd also recommend taking the magazine apart and cleaning and adding light lubrication to it, I normally run a lightly lubed rag threw it. Hope this helps.
Alex, please disassemble the magazine and make sure the spring is properly seated in the follower and that the bottom of the spring is seated at the bottom of the plus two base plate and not hung up which would prevent the additional 2 rounds from being inserted. Cheers and stay safe! Instructions (same for the +2) here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtJEQZRPCjI/watch?v=IjmANOyLtQM
New mag springs are always a little stiff. I recommend a maglula. It will change your life. Stay safe and happy plinking!!
