Joshua, that was highly unlikely information Sir. This shotgun has an 18.5" Barrel with Cylinder Choke and you will get the best accuracy with Foster Type Slugs. Slugs will run fine threw this, obviously someone at Savage didn't know what they were talking about. Wich isn't shocking most people who answer questions for gun manufacturers are just secretary types who don't know much about their actual products. This will work best with rifled slugs.
