Two models, Beretta 3032 Tomcat INOX Stainless J320500, and Beretta 3032 Tomcat S-S INX Stainless J320500CA. You would think the one with the "CA" at the end would be the California Complaint model, yet the CA/DOJ roster of approved handguns specifically says the Beretta 3032 Tomcat INOX Stainless is the approved model, no mention of the other one. Also, there must be a physical difference between the two models, what is it?

Richard, yeah the model numbers seem backwards. It is my understanding that the CA ending model required a Magazine Disconnect Safety from what I remember. Cali and it's jacked up firearms restrictions, what can you do.

Both firearms are practically identical. I'd imagine the only difference is some small safety feature. So magazine disconnect would make sense because pretty sure California compliant models are required to have one. And I wouldn't be surprised if buds mixed up the upc codes they have a bad habit of doing similar things.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I bought a CA model from Buds recently and it does not have a magazine disconnect. I am unaware of any difference other than model number.
