No this will work with the Ruger American series pistols. They sell a 15 round extended magazine for the security 9 compact that has a sleev/filler included On stock here https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/112606/ruger+90681+polymer+adapter ------------------ Just the sleeve by itself for the security 9 is here https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/112605/ruger+black+compact+magazine+adapter+90668 But again that's for the 15rd magazines The sleev im sure would work with 17rd magazines but would leave a slight gap. I couldn't find one that is specifically designed for the 17rd magazines, sorry.
