No, you don't have to become a member to order anything. Becoming a team buds member is optional by paying a fee of 29.95 a year and you get perks for being a member. It's in no way required to purchase from buds. Some items are reserved for team buds members though, Wich cannot be purchased without being a member. If you click on menu, then join team buds, it'll show what you receive for becoming a member. Hope this helps.
