Hi Larry, the LOP on the 5 + 1 is the same but a 28" barrel you should be fine with either Model: 31010, All Purpose Gauge: 12 GA Barrel Length: 28" Finish: Blue Action: Pump Capacity: 5+1 Chamber Length: 3" Choke: Modified Sights: Bead Trigger: Standard Stock: Synthetic Length of Pull: 14 ½" Total Length: 47 ¾" Total Weight: 7 lbs
Larry the fact that it is a 7+1 gun would have no effect on the forearm placement. it just has more exposed magazine tube in FRONT of the forearm. should be no problem. My guess the review about needing longer arms comes from someone who is sholdering the shotgun "funny" or has little experance with a pump.
Length of Paul is the distance from the trigger to the rear of the stock. And it matters because a smaller shorter person would be more comfortable with a shorter LOP.
