Yes, this has a non threaded barrel and 10 round capacity for restricted states like NYS. So this is NYS compliant/legal. I own this model but the American flag version and phenomenal carbine rifle. Wasn't sure how much I was going to like it at first but fell in love with it. Hope this helps.
