Academy Sports doesn't appear to be a "preferred" dealer at this time, which just means that you should contact them and confirm they are willing to accept the transfer when you make a purchase.

Yes, buds will ship to any FFL dealer you want. I always recommend to contact the FFL dealer to make sure it's ok for buds to send them a firearm. Hope this helps.
