What are some recommended thinner grips for the Springfield Lightweight Operator 1911? Don't need anything fancy, just something with good grip, minimal slip and a thin profile.

There's many different kinds hogue and magpul to name a couple.  I'd say it would depend on the material you want and the feel you prefer. Just get a name brand and I don't think you'll have any issues.

I got a pair of plastic unissued USGI grips off of ebay for $8. They have a nice slim profile and feel great.
