Locally I was only able to find Winchester SuperX 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain 1435 FSP Hyper Velocity Hollow Point Copper Plated. Are these safe to shoot in my Taurus TX22 Pistol?

Yes, they will work just fine and won't damage anything. I've used alot of Winchester 40gr 1435fps threw several firearms like Walther p22, Marlin 60sb, heritage rough rider and others and really like them. Most semi automatic pistols prefer high velocity to hyper velocity ammo anyways to completely cycle the slide. Hope this helps.
