Will this act like a thread protector for choke tube threads on my 12ga shotgun, giving it a zero rededuction in diameter of the barrel, so I could shoot a rifled slug, through it safely. I just need to protect the threads when I remove the turkey choke. I need it to be a straight barrel with no choke at all.

William, not this version which is a Full Choke Sir. You could use a flush fit Cylinder/Improved Cylinder tube for best results for your application. Cheers and stay safe!

William, no this is a full choke tube, which is not the best for shooting rifled slugs.
