Thinking of getting this to start my grandson out with. He is average for his age but still needs something short to use. My question is what is the length of pull on this rifle and if I need to can the stock be cut to fit his reach? Thanks for your input.

This has an 11.5 inch length of pull. I bought one of these for my niece and nephew he's 11 and she's 9 and they both love it and have no trouble shooting it. So I don't think you would have to cut the stock down. Hope this helps.

David, LOP is 11.5 inches. You will not need to cut the stock. This is an excellent started rifle. I went with this package with an adjustable stock that my grandson could grow into as he got bigger.
