Thanks for the responses to my original question. Unfortunately, no option to respond there, so wanted to add that the pin is far from flush (1/4"), and barely makes contact with the left side of the receiver. I know this is not a normal position, based on views of other guns. Just wondering if Colts make their pins that way to make it "snug". Will not fully insert with hand pressure or light taps with a rubber hammer.
