David, it is actually decent using Foster Type Slugs with Cylinder or maximum of Modified Choke. The 26" barrel is optimized for superior performance with the Federal HEAVYWEIGHT TSS Turkey Loads and it accepts Win Choke pattern changeable choke tubes.

This will shoot slugs fine, I'd recommend rifled slugs threw this and you should get pretty decent accuracy out of it. Hope this helps.

David, provided you change the included extra-full choke tube (Win. choke pattern ½-32UN) to Improved Cylinder choke tube, it will shoot slugs fine. Be sure to use rifled (foster) slugs. Have a great day!
