Thomas, unfortunately no Sir as you would be the purchaser through your Buds account. You can purchase a Buds Gift Card in the entire purchase amount and have you father make the purchase in his name so there is no appearance of a "Straw" purchase. -------- https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/type/Gift+Cards
Unfortunately no, if it's purchased in your name it must be picked up in your name. About a year ago I bought a firearm from buds and didn't realize my ID was expired and the FFL wouldn't let my wife complete the transfer, had to wait until I renewed my ID. The best option would be to buy a gift card to give to your father. Sorry but hope this helps.
Just email him a gift card. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411535980/budsgunshopcom+gift+card+(any+amount) And have him buy it in his name
It is technically legal, but Bud's won't do it and some FFL's won't. It doesn't matter who pays for the gun, ownership takes place when the transfer occurs. It is no different than taking your dad to a gun store and using your credit card, and he fills out form 4473. It doesn't matter where the money comes from, as long as the person filling out 4473 and taking ownership is legally allowed to have a gun. That is not a straw purchase. With all that being said, it would be easier to do what Paul said.
