I'm sure shooting some from time to time won't hurt anything but I try to stay away from steel cased ammo in any firearm. Most steel cased ammo has a bimetal jacket projectile Wich means there's steel in the bullet/projectiles jacket wich can wear on the barrel much quicker than brass. Know plenty of people shoot steel threw these, it can just wear parts or even break parts quicker. Hope this helps.
