Ues this will work fine with low recoil or light target loads. It is an over under, so unlike a semi-auto you don't have to worry about enough force to cycle a bolt. You shoot twice, break the action open, remove the spent shells and load 2 more.

Like Paul said this is break action so it will work fine with pretty much any load.

Yes it will it even works well with the 1 7/8 inch mini shells and they do have enough recoil to set the inertia trigger on the browning
