The California compliant model doesn't have a threaded barrel, and the stock is fixed-not collapsible. Other than that and the magazine capacity they're the same. Hope this helps.

Isaac, 10 round mag is only difference. Rimfire caliber rifles are not considered "assault weapons" and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot. Have a great day!
