Tony, the M&P M2.0 is a striker fired pistol same as a Glock. Cheers and stay safe!
Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 have a trigger pull of around 5.5 pounds. This is considered a double action only but its a striker fired pistol so theres really no such thing as a dao striker fired pistol. From what Ive read these have pretty good triggers with Nice light crisp trigger pulls. Hope this helps.
Refers to the trigger pull. Make no mistake this is a striker fire pistol the pistol has a crisp feel to it and has a 5.5lb pull. Stay safe and happy plinking!!
no it is a striker fire gun which is not really a single action or a double action in a single action gun the trigger releases the cocked hammer the round fires and the action of the gun recockes it again for the next shot in a Double action the hammer starts in a down position and the trigger pull brings the hammer back and releases it to fire the gun a striker fired gun (like this one) does not have a hammer but has a firing pin that is under tension and the trigger releases the firing pin to strike the primer the gun fires and the action cycles resetting the firing pin to be ready for the next shot
