No, if you don't plan on adding a suppressor or some type of muzzle brake then there's absolutely no reason to have one. I'm with you you I like the looks but not enough to pay the extra money for a threaded barrel version. Hope this helps.
Tony, I would it the extra cost is not excessive. You never know what the future may bring by way of a suppressor or even a muzzle break. Cheers and stay safe!
Because muzzle brakes are awesome and one day you could change your mind on a suppressor. If that day comes you won't have to go buy a new barrel!! Stay safe and happy plinking!!
