Have owned couple of these in .22 LR and find they work best with CCI Mini-Mag Non-Hollow Point Ammo. Also, care has to be taken in how rounds are stacked in magazine.

with ammo it likes yes with other ammo no You will have to try different 22lr ammo and see I would start with CCI MINI mags
