Not really finding a difference other than the scope and this one has a barrel with a 1:8 twist ratio and the plan Axis 2 has a barrel with a 1:9 twist ratio. Just depends if you want the vortex scope or not. Vortex crossfire 2 Scopes are great budget Scopes. Hope this helps.
