Emanuel, it is for a Rifle due to the Shoulder Stock. A Braced lower would work no issue on a Pistol build. The Shoulder Stock would make your upper an SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) requiring NFA Registration and a $200 Tax Stamp. Cheers and stay safe!
Rifle.... cannot put pistol upper on with current stock (unless you obtain SBR stamp).

This lower is meant to be used for a rifle build, not a pistol. This has a stock on it , you need one with a pistol brace for it to be legal. Sorry but hope this helps.
