Yes, this could be used for deer with slugs but this only includes a extra full choke Wich is definitely not recommended for using slugs. You want a less constrictve choke like cylinder or improved cylinder. This has a win choke pattern, so as long as you buy a win choke in either cylinder or improved cylinder then this will work fine with rifled slugs for Deer. Hope this helps.
