Yes it is a good quality entry level AR 15 rifle. get it, shoot it a lot and then change what you want on it or build a AR 15 to suit you

Scott, yes Sir. I have three Diamondback AR's, two 5,56 and one .308 and they have been excellent. Just follow the break in and maintenance recommendations with a good maintenance, cleaning and lube schedule and you will be fine.Cheers and Happy Holidays!
