Yup no issues with mine either. Slides in and out without issues.

since its a Taurus factory mag it should fit and work just fine

No issues for me with the mags, the biggest problem (for a while) was finding 709 mags - they were really hard to find at times, but Taurus seems to have listened to their customers and the mags are much easier to find these days.
