Wayne, this rifle is rated to shoot both calibers Sir. .308 or 7.62x51 NATO no issue. Cheers and stay safe!

Wayne, you can fire common 7.62X51 military ammo in any currently produced rifle chambered for .308 Winchester. Have a great day!
