Mason, 7 and 8 round 1911 A1 Magazines are the same exact size Sir. An Officer Magazine is physically shorter than the full size 1911 A1 Magazine. In 1911 you go by the size of the magazine rather than by strictly how many rounds they hold. The Chip McCormick Magazines I recommended before will work no issue. Cheers and stay safe.
