Seems to be some issue with the feed ramp, id 1st contact Taurus, and see if they offer a fix, if not you can always seek out a competent gun smith to polish the feed ramp, od also try different brands of hollow points and see if maybe there's on that will work, I use federal hst, and speer gold dot and have never had an issue. Or you could forgo the hollow points all together and use a Tumble upon impact round (TUI) These work similar to an AK or AR round, and instead of expanding they tumble, and ate still quite effective. Buds has fort Scott in stock here. https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php?q=Fort+Scott+Munitions&type=
Jamie, I have several G3C's and have not had an issue with hollow points. I would first try a few more different brands of hollow point ammunition to check for function. If they work then switch and if they jam then the pistol may need to be looked at and/or serviced by Taurus. Cheers and safe Holidays!
I would try a different brand JHP for sure. Might need to check your feed ramp as well? Good luck!
Try different brands/boxes of ammo. Also clean your feed ramp, that might help. Stay safe and happy plinking!!
I'd try different brands of hollow points, some hollow points are more rounded and will feed easier. Your next option would be to polish the feeding ramp, if you don't know how to I'd recommend getting a qualified gunsmith to do so. You can also contact Taurus and see what hollow points they recommend or for warranty work. Sorry you're having issues but hope this helps.
