They are machined from solid aluminum and cut with custom tooling to SAAMI minimum chamber tolerances. Just drop your cartridge into the gauge and if it fits, it will chamber in your gun. To use simply drop loaded rounds in the checker, if the ammo fits in the block and is flush with the top it will fit in the firearm's chamber. Have a great day!
