Jeremy, the upper is switchable with a 5.56/223 upper no problem. I own a similar DB15 but in 5.56 and can attest to quality workmanship. I have just under a thousand rounds through it so far with no issues. I'm currently saving for a DB-10 in 308 or 6.5 Creedmoor (haven't decided which yet). You tube may produce some videos for you.
