As James said this is not cut to accept an optic. Your only choice to add one is to buy a dovetail red dot mounting plate. It's a little plate that takes the place of your rear sight. This looks to have Novak cut sights so you would need a Novak style red dot mounting plate. Hope this helps.

You can replace the rear sight with a novak dovetail to red dot adapter or you can get one that attaches to the rail.
