Ive probably asked this question for every new gun I buy but the only difference with this gun or the other 10rd HK SP5's is the magazine correct? It can use hi-cap magazines I assume?

Yes, they just come with a 10 round magazine for states with restricted magazine capacity. This will accept hi capacity magazines no problem. Hope this helps.

Glenn, most manufacturers including H&K make 10rd magazine packages so their firearms can be sold in States with magazine capacity restrictions. The only difference is the magazine (10rd) compared to the standard model package higher capacity magazines. It will use the higher capacity magazine no issue. Cheers and stay safe!

Yeah, many manufacturers include 10 round mags for the few bad apple anti- gun states. But, as mentioned this will accept higher capacity Fun Sticks for hours of fun laying rounds down range!!!
