I would call first thing in the morning to check but I;m pretty sure it has a safety and not a decocker. 859-368-0371
These are Law Enforcement trade in "Red Box" pistols. This P229 has a traditional DA/SA semi-auto with no manual safety. It uses the original SIG decocker action. When the weapon is to be made safe after firing, it is necessary to operate the decocking lever, just above the magazine release button, to safely drop the hammer.
