Hello, so I checked and model AL22B is a revolver. As such I assume it is NY compliant right? (most revolvers don't have threaded barrels etc)

Correct, buds is using an incorrect photo. This is a revolver and does not have a threaded barrel so it's new York compliant. Good catch and hope this helps.
