Wow, I'd be upset too. Really only other advice would be to contact blue line at 1-360-778-2052 hopefully they could give some information on why it wouldn't fit or possibly other brands that will. I'd also contact Magpul again and speak with someone new, always heard they had decent customer service so perhaps just caught someone on a bad day. Sorry you're having issues and hopefully can get it straightened out.
