This does not have a manual thumb safety. This is just a typo on buds end. Hope this helps.

Rusty, the description is incorrect. Always verify by the manufacturer UPC code. This model has a Firing Pin Block Safety, Trigger Safety and No Manual Safety. Cheers and stay safe!
