Javon, as soon as they physically receive the firearm and log it into their FFL Log, they will contact you. Many FFL's have many firearms delivered per day so sometimes it is the next day after they receive it that they contact you. Cheers and stay safe!
Sometimes if they're busy it might take a day or two. Normally I watch the tracking number and contact my FFL when it's delivered. Personally I'd just give your FFL a call or if you know it's delivered just stop in when they're open. Hope this helps.
Javon, not all FFL's will contact you. It is not the law, and I can attest to the fact that not all FFL's will contact you, it has happened to me when I was new to on-line gun buying. It all depends on their policy. Some FFL's will call you, some won't, you may have to call them. Either way, you'll get an email from UPS saying your gun has been delivered, so you know when it arrives. Personally, I would not wait for the store to call me, I would call them when it arrives. Have a great day!
