Nicholas, the M&P 12 is a pump action shotgun, not a semi auto so none of those evil features apply to its legality. Second, NY safe includes a high capacity feeding device limit of 10 rounds not a weapon capacity limit. Yes, since this is a pump action it's perfectly legal in new York. Pump action shotguns don't have the same restrictions like semi automatics. Hope this helps and enjoy.
